Graham, You'll need to do a fwstop/fwstart in order for this to work. But it appears that your looking for an alternate way to stop the fw services. If you have remote access via the console port, or contact someone at the site and have them run the commands(make sure their a good typist.) Or you could always pull the power cord. I find that I get immediate results on the latter option, but find it difficult to run the 'fw putkey ...' command. Robert - - Robert P.
