When you purchase Reporting tool, you can get a license for a single node mgmt server with your purchase. You must be collecting logs at the reporting server. Which means that CP management must also be installed on the Reporting server. This is usually not a big deal, as you can have multiple logging servers, and the management for the reporting tool does not need to be the primary management machine for the firewall(s). I am a bit puzzled as to why remote LEA wasnt used in the product, but thats another thread entirely. I think it is worth the effort to get the reporting tool working in your enviornment. Did somebody succeeded to install this module in standalone mode? My problem is probably with my passive management station versus the active management station! I always get "No License for User Interface" when I try to open the Log Consolidator Thanks, Sylvain ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
