Dual DNS (or "split DNS") usually refers to a SecuRemote configuration that allows the SR client to use an internal DNS server to resolve internal names, and an external DNS server to resolve others. The reference for this (along with many other useful config docs) can be found at http://support.checkpoint.com/service/publisher.asp?id=55.0.206. Hope that helps! However I was wondering if there is some Firewall-1 documentation or any other documentation from CheckPoint that illustrates this. I assume they would know how it should be done since they mention it in the product documentation. Basically I need to know if I can implement it with my Firewall-1 installation without having perform major surgery on my system. Is there any documentation available on how to implement this?
