I responded to Ian's post, because by placing the '-p' at the end was not adding the persistant route to the registry. I put it at the front and it worked... Then your post comes along and gets me wondering again(just what I wanted to waste another 45 minutes on.) So I tested and it fails to add...hmmmm. I re-apply service pack 6a for the ump-teenth time and voila - YOUR RIGHT! >btw, has anyone noticed that the default FW1 TCP session >timeout value on NT is less than the setting in the registry for >TCP Session keepalives? Have you tried to change NT's stack to see if life changes vs the fw value? Thanks Carl, Robert (p.s.
