A late collision is a layer 1 (physical) layer error that means that a collision occurred on the wire after your machine finished transmitting the packet. In normal ethernet operation, this should NEVER happen. This usually occurs when your NIC is failing, but can also be caused by exceesive cable length or electromagnetic interference. The error, therefore, is coming from the OS rather than the firewall software. If you can, try a new NIC and/or check the cabling to see if it resolves the error. Good luck!
