>From memory I thought that Oracle used tcp1541 (v8.0 anyway). A way to check would be to either put a sniffer on the line and see, the other option is to watch the logs and see what violations occur (presuming that logging is enabled for the corresponding rule). I presume we are talking about an 8.0 or 8i client talking to the server as opposed to some other type of connection. Hope this helps a bit, maybe someone else will have actual experience of doing this in FW-1. As I understand Orcale server will listen tcp 1526. After established the connection to the server with 1526, another TCP connection with dynamic port is required.
