FireWall-1 does not automate log switching on its own. I've seen some firewalls that have had years worth of logs or more because the administrators just aren't concerned with backing up the logs. There may be a cron job that runs every so often that issues the fw logswitch. -Warren. -----Original Message----- From: unix sa [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2000 12:37 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] fw logs Guys I need to get three days worth of fw activity but my fw.log file seems to get rolled at the end of each day Is there a configuration to set the number of days the logs are retained for, or a fw log command ? Thanks ===== SysAdmin.... It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo!
