Just use dd dd if=<source disk device file> of=<destination disk device file> bs=1024k I use this to clone disks all the time. I have 2 disks in my firewall and run the above command from a batch file on a weekly basis. When I lost my root disk a few months ago, I just changed rebooted onto the new disk.... Note: the size of the destination disk has to be >= the size of the source disk man pages should tell you all about it. Phil > Does anyone know of a way to clone a hard drive with Solaris 2.6.
