The Linux ported Firewall-1 is not certified by Red Hat version as this seems to state. It is certified by major linux kernel release. I believe it is 2.2.x.x. So Red Hat 6.2 should still be supported. As well as Mandrake 7, etc. I am not a UNIX expert, so I am sure we will get many responses to what kernel is actually supported. That would be nice to see. And yes, linux is not supported by Check Point until v4.1 SP1. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Guinn" <[email protected]> To: "Marco Shaw" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 04, 2000 9:48 AM Subject: RE: [FW1] Linux versions? > > more specifically, it only became supported on Red Hat 6.1 (not sure if > 6.2 > is now or not officially) with the release of the CP2000 version. > Funny...a > lot of the references in the readme's on the CD for the Linux version > state > that it's still a beta... > > Dan Guinn > NetStar Communications > > -----Original Message----- > From: Andrew Bagrin [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Monday, December 04, 2000 9:57 AM > To: Marco Shaw; [email protected] > Subject: Re: [FW1] Linux versions? > > > > Linux only became supported with the release of 4.1 > Andrew Bagrin > Secure-1 >> www.secure-1.com > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Marco Shaw <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, December 04, 2000 8:05 AM > Subject: [FW1] Linux versions? > > > > > > What versions of FW-1 have been produced for Linux?
