On some machines, when re-installing SecuRemote after uninstalling SecuRemote, you might get a message window that says: "Setup has found that Firewall-1 is installed on this computer. Please uninstall it before installing SecuRemote." To overcome this problem, do the following steps using the Registry Editor (regedit): 1. Remove Registry item labeled "SecuRemote (1)" in the \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint\CheckPoint Product Suite\Setup key. 2. Remove this Registry key (and all its sub-keys): \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FW1 Once these two steps have been completed, just rerun the setup file for SecuRemote and it will install this time without the above error.
