Mike- Check the definition of the users (in the user database) to make sure that the expiration date isn't 12/31/00 -Jason -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Mike Sponsler Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2001 10:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] license problem I'm having a very unusual licensing problem with my Firewall-1 VPN. When ever anyone tries to log onto the VPN it gives an error that reads "User Authenticated by Firewall-1. License Expired 31-Dec 2000. Connection refused." I did have a temporary license that expired on Dec 28th, and the permanent license took control. But I was able to log onto the VPN in the time between Dec 28th and Dec 31st. The permanent license is the only one in there right now. The firewall works, NAT is still up, it routes our packets to our on-line development servers, domain, exchange and mail server. Just not VPN. I haven't gotten any support from Checkpoint yet. I called and sent e-mails, with no dice. This is killing us. We run a 24/7 tech support on the software that we develope, and the Techs _need_ to access to the Network from home. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had a similar situation? Any help is greatly appreciated. -- Mike Sponsler Network Administrator [email protected] www.med-media.comext 2679 ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
