Backup the conf and the database directories, put those on the Sun machine, and it's supposed to work fine.

Can I make a backup of the rulebase of FW1 on an NT, replace the machine by a Sun Solaris, and then read it in again on the Sun ?

 

I will -of course- have to make changes to e.g. the NIC-names.  The FW1 hostname and all IP-addresses would be the same as before.
