Configuration of the Nokia "outside" of the Voyager interface is not supported by Nokia. You can use the ICLID interface (shell, whatever) or from FreeBSD command line (if you like incurring the wrath of the helpdesk, when you do break it) , but the web works just fine. Voyager listens to what ever interface your security policy allows it to listen to. Voyager can use ANY port and allows you to configure SSL (HTTPS) to connect to it securely (don't forget to allow HTTPS to your FW) The resource manuals you speak of are shipped with the Nokia Appliance, otherwise you can download them from Nokia's Web site @ https://support.nokia.com/register/reg.shtml Jon Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2001 09:48:34 -0800 (PST) From: David <[email protected]> Subject: [FW1] Nokia IPSO/configure networking/resources Can someone tell me the commands to configure the network interfaces in the IPSO? Also, does voyager listen on all interfaces or just the initial nic when you first set it up. If so, is there anyway to change that? Also, since voyager connects on port 80, is there any way to secure it so the admin password is not sent clear text? It seems to be little out there on configuring the IPSO. If anyone knows how I can get ahold of some good resource manuals on the Nokia appliances I greatly appreciate it! (NT guru here, very little UNIX) Thanks, David ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
