If the build is correct, but you still feel that something is wrong, my suggestion would be to stop the fw, back out from the SP3 patch, reboot the firewall and then re-apply the SP3 patch. Don't forget to reboot the FW after applying the patch. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Close [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 4:59 PM To: 'George Metropoulos'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [FW1] Problem Installing SP3 on Solaris 2.7 Tried this, still the same problem. I have also noticed that fw ver tells me now that I have the correct build 41814, however I am fairly certain that before I tried installing the patch for the first time that the build I had was earlier. -----Original Message----- From: George Metropoulos [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 1:33 PM To: 'Chris Close'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [FW1] Problem Installing SP3 on Solaris 2.7 Where did you unzip the package? Try unzipping the package in /tmp. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Close [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 3:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] Problem Installing SP3 on Solaris 2.7 I'm having a problem installing SP3 on Solaris 2.7. This should be very simple. I unzipped the package, stopped the firewall and ran the patchadd command. Below is the transcript of the problem. It appears that the patch is already installed, but I know this is not the case. Is it possible that I got a CD that shipped with a version that already included SP3?
