Hi! Since SP3 has been release we have seen a couple of requests regarding this error like the one from Vitor Manuel and many others using http security server. You can workaround this problem be defining this entry in \conf\objects.c :props( ... :http_check_response_validity (false) Credits for finding this parameter actually go to one of our customers, Mr. Reinhard Sommer, Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH, who ran into this problem and solved it rightaway. K.Jaeger PS Of course if you read the release notes for SP3 you find this well documented ;-) Flag or Attribute Default Description http_check_request_validity (true/false) true The HTTP Security Server will make sure that client requests do not contain illegal characters. http_check_response_validity (true/false) true The HTTP Security Server will make sure that client responses do not contain illegal characters. ------------------------------, Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2001 11:40:32 +0000, From: Vitor Manuel Saldanha Ventura <[email protected]>, Subject: [FW1] Problem with CVP, Hello, Since i have installed the SP3, i have some problems with the CVP.,I can't access some sites like the HP drivers site, and the log don't,show anything.,Another problem is that many sites are blocked with by rule 0 with the,Malformed request on the info.,Does anyone knows anything about this.? --------------------- Vitor Ventura,Systems Engineer,[email protected], SIA Portugal, Tel: 218497020,<http://www.sia.pt> begin:vcard n:Jaeger;Karl-Heinz tel;fax:49 6126 94433 31 tel;work:49 6126 94433 0 x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:http://www.bdg.de org:BDG;Service adr:;;;Idstein;Hessen;65510; version:2.1 email;internet:[email protected] x-mozilla-cpt:;27216 fn:Karl-Heinz Jaeger end:vcard
