RE: [FW1] CCSA
If I may, and I do
realize that this is very off topic....
The CCIE test is two
parts; a two day written and a two day lab. I can see somebody being able
to cram for the written, but for the lab, there has to be a geed deal of
hands-on experience. CCNA, CCNP, CCDA and CCDP are all good examples of
tests you can take with just book knowledge, but the CCIE takes actual
experience.

Yes I
do know some people who are excellent in their field and extrememly bright. On
the other hand when I see people asking for cram sessions for their CCIE and
then a week later they post to the list that they just got both CCNA and CCIE in
a week that makes me laugh.

I agree with you on the
netware/msce but I find it hard to believe there
are "paper"
CCIE's!!
You're right, but I'd like to think there are people out there
with "real"
knowledge and skill..

What happened to Netware's certs is no less valid then whats happening to
the
industry in general. Do you know how many paper MCSE's are out there?
Not to
mention CCIE's? Anyone get memory cram for a night.

Re: [FW1] CCSA
I'm sick of seeing people post requests to
this forum asking for links to
"braindumps" or wanting help to aid them in
passing certification exams.
What happened to reading, studying and generally
KNOWING your stuff. If
these people studied and read the
material/documentation available on the
internet or in bookstores, then there
would be no reason to need braindumps
or exam shortcuts - the exams are not
to prove how well you can pass an
exam, but to make sure you are capable of
supporting and understanding
their technology/product.
Look at what
has happened to the credibility of a certain certifcation from
a well know
software company ......
I would prefer to see this forum used as I'm
guessing it was created for -
a coming together and resource of knowledge so
that undocumented or
difficult issues relating to the implementation of
Checkpoint's Security
products could be better
understood.
