Hi, you should change the tcp_keepalive_timeout value of your server ( where you telnet to ). Here, new value is set to 5 minutes. You may add this line to the end of /etc/init.d/inetinit to set at every boot. /usr/sbin/ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_keepalive_interval 300000 Murat P.S. : There may be other solutions. But my problem was solved with this trick. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]]On > Behalf Of Winway > Sent: Monday, July 09, 2001 8:39 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [FW1] telnet lose connection after idled > > > > Hi,all > > I telnet from behind my FW1 with Hide NAT to a remote host. > Every time when > I don't type any key for a little long time, the session will die.
