[FW1] Xwindow application through CP 4.1 SP4

Has anyone out here had any luck getting Xwindows to work reliably through
Checkpoint 4.1 SP 4 and a Nokia IP440 and Secure Remote.

I can get a window to open up, however, when you issue a command that would
fill the screen with output, the window freezes.  I also can not get the
simplest X based GUI to open at all, they always time out.

Checkpoint had me disable flows, and convert my mtu size on my servers to
1450.  They are saying that layering encryption over a 1500 byte frame is
what is screwing it up.  This helped, Xwindows don't freeze, but GUI's still
will not open.  I didn't really like this idea anyway, since all Ethernet
switches, routers and hubs are tuned to use the mtu of 1500.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had success with this.

BTW:  I am trying Exceed on Demand, which works much better, but the
particular Xapp I need to run doesn't work with EOD.
