There can be many reasons for this occurance. Here are some things you
can try:
1) Upgrade to SP5.
2) Check the following ports to see if the client might be blocking any
of the following:
- SecuRemote requires the following ports and protocols to be allowed by
any intermediary device (routers, firewalls):
TCP port 256 between client and Management Console. This is only needed
to fetch and update the site information and will always originate from
the SecuRemote client
UDP port 259 to negotiate encryption and authentication information.
UDP port 500 to negotiate encryption keys when ISAKMP is used.
IP Protocol 94 bi-directionally when FWZ encapsulation is used.
IP Protocol 50 bi-directionally when ISAKMP is used.
(Note: The UDP ports are only needed if your are not tunneling UDP via
TCP.)
3) If your client is using a router (ie. Linksys), check that the
firmware is up to date. (This is the problem I had when connecting
through Linksys's Wireless router device)

hi all!
I have sun 8, ultra sparc 5, CP41 SP4.
I want to create a vpn, and I did exactly CP guide.
I can create the site at secureremote, and I can update it.
But, when I try to log in vpn, I receive the following message:
Exchanging keys with a firewall...
and then...
Error: No answer received from a Firewall at site 200.x.y.z
If this problem persists, please contact your system administrator.
Someone can help me?
