[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [FW-1] STP = Land Attack?
Has anyone had any incidences where spanning tree causes false positives for a MAD land_attack? I have a series of firewalls seperated by Nortel switches running spanning tree, and I am getting loads of land_attacks. This network isn't connected to the internet, and isn't in use; the application it has been built for isn't in place yet. So pretty much the only traffic I have is snmp, various firewall-1 protocols, and vrrp. The only thing unusual on the relevent interface of the firewall issuing the alert is stp service announcements. Any thoughts? ------------------------------------------------ Global WebMail - Delivered by Global Internet www.global.net.uk ------------------------------------------------ =============================================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ===============================================
