Hi, the changes in your rulebase are stored in file.W and rulebases.fws respectively. If you change the properties of the SYN-Defender (Rule 0) (Policy - Properties - SYN Defender) these changes are stored in $FWDIR/conf/objects.C - and this file is valid for all rulebases. You may also configure the SYN Defender using the file $FWDIR/conf/cpmad_conf.conf. So for changing the definition of a SYN attack you will have to change the Properties or one ot the file(s).
