If you don't care about load balancing and just want a failover solution, you could use a Cisco router for the cable link and an Cisco DSL router. Configure the cable router as usual. Configure the DSL router as HSRP standby. This eliminates the need to change your defaulte route on your FW in case of a failover, because the standby router will adopt the IP address of the cable router. You have to take care that your provider(s) configure the routing to your network properly.
