Re: [FW-1] Multiple internal interfaces

If you are using different ISPs, the networks for each interface is different. So the NATed address would get the traffic back to the correct interface.

Then, as Kevin pointed out, you have a few
challenges to meet.

Be sure to draw yourself a throughly detailed map
of how routing will be for your machines,
and for different types of traffic.

For instance, traffic leaving the FW through
Router 1, cannot have replies coming back through
router 2.

Cheers,
Anders :)

With the 2 internal connections you have the exquisite opportunity for
some very interesting routing scenarios (I should know, I've done this
and it can get very strange). When you say frame router 1
and 2 are you
saying frame relay routers 1 and 2 (2 different frame relay
clouds)? If
so, then this should be ok since the routing issues are kind of mute.
If "frame router" is just your term for 2 internal routers
that know the
same routes you could get some asynchronous routing problems.

Subject: [FW-1] Multiple internal interfaces

Is it possible to have the following -----

one interface external -- to router --- to internet T-1
one interface to dmz
one internal interface to frame router 1
one internal interface to frame router 2

We currently have the 2 internal routers hitting a switch and then one
cable connecting to the fw

thanks
