We had the *exact* same problem -- on the *exact* same date! I opened a case with Nokia, but the nitwit I spoke with was unable to comprehend the fact that you don't need to run a scheduled job anymore -- that it's configurable in the policy (he kept referring back to the old KB articles for 4.1/2000 and said that "it's the same for NG").

After a few days of back-and-forth with this guy, I gave up and scheduled an "at" job (management is W2K). Works great.

had the same problem here... seemed to brake on all our boxes on 31 march....

fp2 seems to fix this problem.

I had configured my management station to switch the log files over
every night at midnight.  It worked for a while but then stopped.

I need it to switch the file over each night because it grows too large
to be effective for us in the log viewer.

I used to be able to do a log switch under cron under version 4.1.  Any
chance of getting fw logswitch to work under cron, or is there a magic
fix for the GUI config.  I checked the objects.C file in the config
directory and here is what it states for logswitch...

                                 :log_switch_schedule (ReferenceObject
                                         :Name (Midnight)
                                         :Table (times)
                                         :Uid
("{107CC616-E8C7-11D5-945E-CDD963056370}")
                                 )

Any ideas?

Thank you,
