So in short, it doesn't matter what circumstance caused TCP-53 to get used by DNS in the past, now that MS-Win2K is on the planet it had better be opened up. Figures. This is right up there with dynamic DNS traffic being shot out to the Internet by misconfiured Win2K boxes 'automatically registering' themselves with the root servers...
