Sean, What have you done so far? The SecurID client code in version 4.1 requires a "legacy" version of the sdconf.rec, not the standard one that is generated in the 5.0 ACE/Server. I don't recall exactly how to export the older version of the sdconf.rec though. Some other things to look out for: - Translation rules: Make sure there is no translation occuring between the ACE/Server & the firewall. - Host file entries: Make sure the firewall & ACE/Server have identical entries in their respecitive host files for all interfaces on the firewall as well as the ACE/Server Let me know if you need any more help... -Mik ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sean Donaghey/HDGH" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 17, 2002 8:52 AM Subject: [FW-1] ACE/Server v5.0.1 and Checkpoint Compatability? > What versions of FW-1 out there in the real world are being used > successfully with ACE/Server v5.0.1? > > I am trying to get a trial copy of ACE/Server v5.0.1 working with my FW-1 > v4.1 SP3 Nokia box, and I cannot seem to get the SecurID part working with > User Auth, Client Auth, and with SecuRemote. > > I found a Nokia document that stated v5.0.1 was test successfully with v4.1 > SP4, but right now I cannot do any updates to our firewall as we have an > outside vendor that does all its work off hours for the next month or so, > so I want to try to get it too work with what we have. > > Thanks, > > Sean P.
