SecurePlatform is going to wipe out your machine, install a stripped version of RedHat and Check Point FP2 (assuming you have the FP2 iso). Then it's just a matter of completing the configuration. So if you have any data on the machine you're looking to install SecurePlatform on, back it up first! -Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leonardo Boulton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 8:47 AM Subject: [FW-1] Checkpoint on Linux > I have an Intel PC with RedHat Linux 7.3 (anaconda) linux installed as a > server. > I downloaded the Secure Platform ISO image, and burned the CD. > > What do I have to install?. > > Do I have to install the Secure Platform first, and then go to the > UnixInstallScript on the CheckPoint CD to install the SVN, FW-1, and so?, or > the secure platform does it all? > > Thanks a lot. > > > Leonardo Boulton > CyberTech Projects > [email protected] > tlf.
