Re: [FW-1] FW-1 SmallOffice Q's

Turns out that I cannot use the GUI. I can use the web or commandline
interfaces.
Where can I learn how do set rules via the command line as I need more than 5
ports to be allowed.
Also, if you know anything about logging into an NT domain that is in the DMZ
from the LAN, please let me know.
I currently cannot move the NT domain controler to the LAN, but if will be one
of the next steps we go through as I secure this company's site.
I have most of the internet working through the firewall currently, I just need
the NT, and to allow things like NAV CE and Centraal quarentieen and a few other
things to be exchanged from the DMZ to the LAN.
The goal is to eventually have no reason for the clients to talk to the DMZ
except for e-mail, but that will take time and money, so we are taking this one
step at a time...
Thanks for any help,
-Russell

Subject: [FW-1] FW-1 SmallOffice Q's

Is it possible to use the GUI management clients that are normally used for CP
FW-1 Small Office?
I can use the web management
https://192.168.1.1
and the proper login, but using the GUI cilents I get a "connection cannot be
initiated. Makesure that server 192.168.1.1 is up and running.
any ideas?

Also, using the webinterface, it lets you deifne 5 TCP/UDP ports to allow to
lan, dmz, or internet.
Is it possible to allow more than five?
If so, how?

Thanks guys!
-Russell Lewis
