Re: [FW-1] local.arp
Title: RE: [FW-1] local.arp
local.arp is to be used only on Windows systems. For *nix, use the command-line arp facility to publish the arp entry, a la
arp -s 1.2.3.4 00-44-ce-B8-00-51 pub
Note also that this will be lost at reboot, so you will need to add this command to a startup script to ensure that it continues to function across system reboots.

Subject: [FW-1] local.arp
Hi,
i have defined in my local.arp File ($FWDIR/state/local.arp)
Protection:
16353 2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 132 Jun 27 11:11
local.arp
a few arp-request IP-Addresses. But after System-Reboot, Firewall makes
no entries in the arp-Tables. What is going wrong? Protection?
How can i test it, whether CP use this local.arp File ?
Syntax:
1.2.3.4 00-44-ce-B8-00-51
Is this casesenitiv?
Have anybody an idea?
Regards
Rudi
