This is the typical "can this be done, and if so, how" question: I have FW-1 NG FP2 and want to create a VPN with a NetGear FVS318. After much trial and error I have found the winning combination of parameters so long as the NetGear is given a static IP address. Can a VPN be established between FW-1 NG FP2 and another firewall if the other firewall's address is obtained from DHCP? If so, how do I configure the Interoperable device object in FW-1 and what will the Local IPSec identifier be on the remote firewall? I wait with baited breath for your reply. :-) Greg Schumacher Computer Guy DDB Seattle 1008 Western Ave, Ste 601 Seattle, WA 98104fax [email protected] www.ddbseattle.com ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
