[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [FW-1] Using the SecuRemote VPN - browsing, etc.
Hi everyone: This is probably a pretty dumb question, but how does one navigate the internal networkj once the VPN is established? I have SecuRemote 4.1 SP5 connecting to a Windows 2000 network. Authentication goes OK (using IKE), but once I'm logged in I have to type the UNC for the hosts/servers that I'm looking for in order to access them. Network neighborhood doesn't show the internal network (I'm guessing that's normal?) but is there a better way. Somebody mentioned VNC in another posting; is that a good solution. I can use Terminal Services myself to access the servers, but that isn't an option for clients because of the licensing costs. Would putting VNC on a dedicated box which the clients could then use to browse the network be a good solution (I'll have seven people maximum and not all at once).
