Rob,
It's private IP address, otherwise you will never be able to
install the license from CheckPoint on the management server, it must
be an address that it has on one of its interfaces.

If you have an fp3 enterprise management server on a private IP address
managing many enforcement points, you need to use a NAT for the management
server so it can see its remote enforcement points. What IP should you
register the management server to in the usercenter?
