I have been reading about the hacks that make SecurePlatform proxy arp for manual NAT addresses but none of them seem to work in SecurePlatform AI. I know it was a feature request, is there something that I am doing wrong? I am enabling proxy arp in rc.local: echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth0/proxy_arp I am creating the static entry: arp -Ds 1.1.1.1 eth0 pub It displays like this when I do an arp -n: Address HWtype HWaddress Flags Mask Iface 64.80.21.71 * * MP eth0 It looks odd to me. If I just use the addarp command it displays properly but doesn't work either. I even added a route (unnecessary) to dev eth0. My cisco still shows arp info incomplete. Am I doing this correctly? Is there some built-in feature that I don't know about. Checkpoint's docs don't get into enough detail.
