hi graham, log on to your remote module via secure shell or something else. type fw fetch -d [name of the management machine] and watch the debug output for errors (it´s pretty much, so redirect the output in file for comfortable watching ;-)) so long /wolfgang -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Graham Leggett [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet am: Dienstag, 5. Hi all, I have set up a brand new management module station to replace an aging v4.0 instllation. I need however to check whether this new management module will talk to our existing v4.0 remote module. So far the only way to do this seems to be to try and install a security policy on the remote module - if things go wrong, it could take out our firewall. Yuck. Is there a non destructive "check if all comms are ok" button in the GUI that will confirm that the remote module and the management module can talk to each other with the correct authorisation, etc?
