There is a known problem with Checkpoint Firewall 1 and the Sanger FTP
site.  This manifests itself as a disconnection after login, and is due to a 
bug in Firewall 1.

The following versions of Firewall 1 are affected.

v4.1 sp2, v4.1 sp1 hotfix 41603, v3.0 sp6 & sp7

Please be aware that this is very definetly a Firewall 1 problem and cannot 
be fixed at this end.

We have been provided with a possible workaround by a third party, which may 
or may not solve the problem.

In Implied Rules Policy/Properties, select Services tab, and deselect the 
following options:-

Enable FTP Port Data Connections
Enable FTP Pasv Data Connections

Checkpoint have a quick fix available for people with a support contract, 
you will need to contact them to obtain this.
