It will only be logged if you've got long logging turned on on whatever rule your doing encryption on. It logs for me just fine. Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Pierre Harvey [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 31, 2001 9:42 PM To: Fw-1-Mailinglist Subject: SR IP allocation Hi all, FW-1 has a feature in the general properties where one can enable IP Pool NAT for SecuRemote connections. When this is enabled and an address pool assigned, SR users are supposed to get an IP address. The FW-1 object is set up to allocate the IPs to the SR users. Logging is enabled for allocation and release, but the log never shows that an IP is allocated. Am I misunderstanding something here, does it log the IPs to somewhere other than the FW-1 log, or is it just broken? The SR connections work ok, even though the IP address is not in the FW-1 log and not mentioned in the fwenc.log file when SR debugging is enabled.
